Admissions in BS 4-Year Undergraduate program will be held under the National University of Pakistan (NUP), which is a federally chartered public sector university established on 18th April, 2023. BS Computer Science

Program Description

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) at the National University of Pakistan provides an in-depth understanding of computing principles and their practical applications. It covers both theoretical foundations and practical skills necessary for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems. The program includes topics such as algorithms, programming languages, software engineering, database systems, computer architecture, mobile application development, and networking, while also exploring advanced areas like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cyber security, and many more. The BSCS degree prepares students to solve complex computing problems in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

BS English

Program Description

The status of English as a lingua franca and the language of communication, science, education, and the Internet has increased manifold recently. And it has bound the English Departments to provide students with suitable opportunities to learn and practice English language with an understanding of its linguistic and literary aspects.

The Bachelor of Science in English at National University of Pakistan is a winning combination of linguistics, literature and English language teaching. Being remarkably diverse in its choices of courses, BS English program enables graduates to learn contemporary trends and innovations in language, linguistics and literary field. The program is designed keeping in view the demands of current job market. BS Fine Arts

Program Description

The BS Fine Arts Program is designed to cultivate students’ creative potential and technical proficiency in the diverse realms of art and design. The curriculum encompasses a comprehensive exploration of art history, theory, and practice, thus enabling students to develop a strong foundation in visual communication and critical thinking. Core courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics provide hands-on experience, while electives in areas such as graphic design, digital art, and art history offer opportunities for specialization.

The program culminates in a capstone project that allows students to synthesize their knowledge and skills, creating a body of work that reflects their artistic vision and identity. Through rigorous studio practice, theoretical coursework, and exposure to contemporary art and design, BS Fine Arts graduates emerge as well-rounded artists equipped to excel in various creative fields.
